Who am I?

This article is about my background and experiences in the work I’ve been doing since 1996 and where I am now, opening my mind to ways forward to provide people of the best possible service.

Holistic health and alternative approaches has had a boom effect in these last years, it has risen with about 800%. since 2020.

People seek alternative solutions, for the medical appointments that have failed or a system that doesn’t fix the issues they have. I always say, I don’t replace any medical professional advice, I don’t advice but I offer different views on health for people to take responsibility for their own health and make choices.

Nevertheless, there is NO quick fix or one pill supplement that will solve all. Not even a whole box of supplements will solve everything. Looking from a holistic point of view, it’s all aspects that count and have an impact on our health and wellbeing.  Emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.

My background and start in treatments started in Belgium, when I choose to become a beautician, skin care and massage therapist, foot care practitioner at a College in Bruges, graduating in 1996. Where you were taught solid foundations to then possibly choose a specialty in one of these chosen subjects, or the ones that you felt drawn to make your expertise of.

I’ve really learned foot care on the job for the first three years, with more complex cases, as I was trained differently in Europe as a “beautician” then here in the UK. Higher standards, to not just cut toe nails, but to treat ingrown nails, remove corns, cracks, painful skin issues and do all this with precision and detail. It became one of the things I have mastered, with an eye for precision and deeper understanding of foot issues.

I also experienced I had a gift to remove or shift pain and detecting blocked energy pathways in people’s body. People liked the way I was massaging and finding the exact spot where the energy wasn’t flowing or an injury of some sort was detected, physical, emotional, or mental. That took me on the journey to learn more about Ayurvedic massage approaches and had a training of an Indian woman in this field who had an Ayurvedic school in London and  I qualified in 2004.

My creative side was make-up, colour and style, character analysing of people, which was fun and where I also did get my diploma for. The colour archetype profiling tool, that gave my deeper psychological insights, to people’s character, job choices, and personality.

I was keen to understand and learn more, which I did, through the different jobs I had in the medical skin care clinics in Belgium and the opportunity of many trainings with high German standards, holistic skin brands. I was passionate about it all, all that was holistically approached had my interest. I was taught many facial and massage modalities, from aromatherapy to hot stone, deep tissue, Swedish, soft tissue, specific holistic massages with certain German brands that were working on the meridians, acupressure points, shiatsu methods, you name it, it was fascinating and very effective. The German approach was also very involved in the nutritional and holistic health side of treatments.

In my own time, I was busy learning all about astrology and numerology, reading energy and sensing into it all. Which has become one of my profiling skills which can be very helpful to peoples awakening, self-awareness and knowing who they really are, an emotional and spiritual healing journey.

After about 8 years of clinic, spa experience, I decided it was time to go self employed and gradually make my work a full-time self employed business. I also had been working as a  foot care practitioner in a private rehabilitation hospital in Ostend, BZIO, for a couple of years, but my own work became too busy, As I wanted to focus on my own business.

Eventually I grew my interest in the holistic and spiritual aspect in life, where I felt stuck in Belgium, cause I had been coming to England on a regular base to do some workshops in Energy Medicine, healing modalities and introductions to this more specific kind of work. Which wasn’t much available or open in Belgium in those times. Plus I also was on my own healing journey, following my intuition and soul calling.

In 2020 I made a huge change and shift to be trained as a trauma therapist by Carine Hutsebaut ( psychotherapist, criminologist, profiler, author, private expert for the justice department in Belgium and worldwide), working with victims and offenders of sexual abuse. Her victimology and criminal profiling training was another deep learning school to understand peoples behaviour and trauma responses. I graduated successfully at her Academy in 2021 and became a board member of her non profit organisation she started in 1994, ICMA2C  ( International centre for molested and abducted children )  Where I am still in very close connection to a network of therapists and supporting people with emotional and mental health issues.

I combine my knowledge and intuitive skillset, learnings of this training, to support people in a gentle but very effective  way with emotional and mental health issues to do the psycho spiritual inner-work.

Now I am on this new exiting training with Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt Institute, I am learning all there is to learn to prevent disease and his five level healing modality.

He uses his own ART system ( Automatic response testing) to diagnose, detect issues in the physical body, energetically , mental, intuitive and spiritual body, which I’m doing the training for on 17, 18 and 19 October, ART level 1 and 2 foundations.

This is a type of kinesiology testing that determines very accurately where the issues are, what they are and then can be presented with solutions or even often very quickly be corrected, rectified while working with the ART method.
